Barcode lookup
Have the pack in your hand? Type the numbers under the barcode, or scan it with your phone camera, to see whether it shrank. You get our size history for the products we check daily, and the current net quantity, recent prices and brand record for nearly everything else.
Try one: Cheerios · Quilted Northern Toilet paper · Nutella jar (not tracked daily)
Camera scanning works in browsers that support barcode detection (Chrome on Android, for example). Elsewhere, type the digits.
FAQ
Which barcodes work?
The 12-digit UPC on US and Canadian packs, the 13-digit EAN used in Europe, Australia and most other countries, and the short 8-digit EAN-8. Type the digits printed under the bars; spaces and dashes are ignored.
Where does the answer come from?
If we check the product daily (we track 448 items), you get our own size history and a yes or no on whether it shrank. For anything else we show what Open Food Facts, Open Products Facts or Open Beauty Facts list as the net quantity today, recent shelf prices from Open Prices, and how many documented shrinkflation cases we hold for the brand.
Why does it say we have no size history?
Because we only have a history for products we check every day. The open databases store the current pack size, not how it changed. Use the link to ask us to track it, and we will start recording it daily.
Is the scan private?
The camera picture is read on your device and never uploaded. To look the barcode up, your browser asks the Open Food Facts and Open Prices services for that one number. ShrinkRadar itself stores nothing and uses no trackers.
The size on the pack is different from what you show. What now?
Then the pack may have changed. That is exactly what we want to hear about: submit a sighting with the old and new size, and a photo or listing link if you have one.
