What is in it, and what is not
- Every row is a size cut that a consumer agency, consumer advocate or news investigation reported, and that we checked against the fetched source. Each row links that source. Cases we could not verify are not included.
- Sizes and prices are as the source gave them. We do not estimate or fill gaps; empty fields mean the source did not say.
- Quotes from sources are not in the files (they belong to their publishers); each case page shows the quote.
- Coverage follows the sources: Germany (Verbraucherzentrale Hamburg) and the Netherlands (Consumentenbond) are strongly represented, the US mostly through Mouse Print*. It is a record of reported cases, not a random sample, so do not read country or brand counts as rates.
- Daily product snapshots (sizes and prices of the products we track) derive from Open Food Facts, Open Products Facts and Open Prices under the ODbL and are not part of this download.
