FAQ
What happens after I submit?
Your browser opens a prefilled GitHub issue on the ShrinkRadar repository. We read those issues and verify each report against a primary source (a package photo, a retailer listing, a consumer-agency post or a news article) before anything is added to the case library. There is no guarantee of inclusion.
Do I need a GitHub account?
Yes, to open an issue on GitHub. If you do not have one, use the copy-to-clipboard button on this page and email the markdown to the maintainer, or open an account free at github.com.
What makes a strong sighting?
A clear product name, the old and new net size (from the package), roughly when and where you saw it, and a photo or a link to a listing that shows the net weight. Shelf price before and after helps us compute the real unit-price change.
Will you publish my email?
No. The optional email field is only so we can ask a follow-up question about the sighting. It is not shown on the public site.
