FAQ
What does “instant” mean?
We check our tracked products every day and add documented cases as soon as we have verified them against a source. An instant alert goes out at the next hourly send after that (outside your quiet hours). It is fast, but it is not a live price feed.
What is The Weekly Shrink?
Our newsletter for members. Every Monday morning (US time) it brings the week’s new documented cases, the latest ShrinkRadar Index and what changed on your watchlist. It is separate from your alerts, and every issue has a one-click unsubscribe that leaves your alerts on. See a sample issue.
What counts as a change?
For each item you choose: a size cut (smaller pack in our daily check, or a new documented case), a per-unit price rise above the percentage you set, a new documented case, a recipe or quality change (skimpflation), or simply anything.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, in two clicks from your alerts hub (Manage billing). You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.
Do you offer refunds?
If Plus isn’t for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. Details in the refund and cancellation policy.
What happened to the free email alerts?
Email alerts are now part of Plus. Everything else stays free: every case, product page, calculator, the ShrinkRadar Index and the RSS feed.
Do I need a password?
No. You sign in with a one-time link we email you. Your session lasts 30 days on that device.
Who handles my card?
Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe also sends your receipts and invoices.
Is the data still free to read?
Yes. Every page on ShrinkRadar stays free and open to search engines. Plus pays for the daily checking and the alerting, not for access to the facts.
How do I contact you?
Email support@shrinkradar.com about your account, billing or refunds. You can also cancel or change your plan yourself in the alerts hub.
Can I get the full dataset or an API?
Not with Plus. Bulk data for newsrooms and researchers is planned as a separate product. Until then you can cite and link any case page, and the ShrinkRadar Index figures are downloadable.
